Sorry no recent posts - semester started I'd I've been swamped. I have done some fun cooking, so I promise some posts soon!

Blueberry muffins

In an effort to procrastinate from the work to get ready for the semester, I had to bake. Blueberry muffins, of course. I made the recipe from America's Test Kitchen (recipe). I really like the lemon-sugar topping. The muffin was a little dry. Not sure if it's because I had to substitute milked down yogurt instead of buttermilk, but it wasn't great. I prefer the muffins from the Mark Bittman veggie book. Next time I make them, I'll post them too.

The Beginning

Hi all,

This is the beginning. I'll occasionally post some old things I cooked. Usually I use other people's recipes, so I'll link to them or tell you what book they are out of.  Here's the most recent dinner experiment. We call it burrito pie. It's from Martha Stewart. My pictures aren't as nice as hers. It was really yummy. Would be great for a party, so I expect it will make a reappearance.
